Adjusted Stash Requirements
Based on community feedback, Embark Studios lowered the maximum reward threshold for the second Expedition.
Maximum Stash Threshold Lowered
The new cap is 3 million Coins (600k per Skill Point), down from the original requirements. The 5 Skill Point reward for reaching this milestone remains unchanged.
Catch-Up Mechanic
Missed Skill Points from the first Expedition? A new system lets you earn them back at a discounted rate.
Discounted Catch-Up Rate
Earn missed Skill Points at 300k Stash value per Skill Point - half the normal rate. When departing, earned Coins count toward current expedition rewards first, then toward previously missed rewards.
Up to 85 Skill Points
Second Expedition participants can earn up to 85 total Skill Points, combining current rewards with catch-up from the first Expedition.
Permanent Rewards
Everything you earn from the Second Expedition stays with your account permanently.
Cosmetic Rewards
- New The Patchwork outfit - evolved version with 4 additional toggles and 2 new color options
- New Scrappy outfit cosmetics
- New Expedition Indicator icon - upgrades with each completed expedition
Permanent Bonuses
- Buff Stash space increase: 12 → 24 total extra slots
- Buff Earn 0-5 additional Skill Points based on stash value
Consecutive Expedition Buffs
Departing on consecutive expeditions increases your temporary buffs. Skipping an expedition resets these bonuses.
Important: Buffs reset if you skip an expedition. You must depart on consecutive expeditions to maintain and increase your bonuses.
What Persists Across Expeditions
These elements are unaffected by Expedition resets and carry over permanently.
